TNB Electron isn’t slowing down with its EV charger deployment. The Charge Point Operator is turning on another new EV charging station located within TNB’s premises and the new location is in Ipoh.
Similar to other locations, they have deployed a DC Charging location with multiple nozzles capable of up to 240kW.
As expected, users can enjoy free EV charging for a limited time during its testing phase.
TNB Electron has deployed a TELD DC Charging solution with a total of 4x CCS2 nozzles, with up to 240kW. It is located within the compounds of Wisma TNB along Jalan Lahat in Ipoh.
To activate and pay for charging, you don’t need any apps. Just tap your credit and debit card at the provided JuiceUP contactless card terminal. These chargers are priced at RM1.50 per kWh.
As part of its opening on 26th December 2025, users can enjoy complimentary free charging until 27th December 2025. Take note that you may need to tap your card for pre-authorisation to initiative charging.
