TNB Electron has turned its new DC Charger which is located right in the heart of Putrajaya. The new EV charging location is at Selera Laman Perdana which is next to the Prime Minister’s office in Presint 1 of Putrajaya.
As part of TNB Electron’s tradition, EV owners can enjoy free charging for a limited time at the new charger.
For this location, TNB Electron has deployed a 120kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles.
Users can activate and pay for charging by tapping their credit and debit card via the JuiceUp payment terminal.
Similar to other TNB Electron locations, the charger costs RM1.50/kWh. TNB Electron now offers complimentary charging until 31st October 2025 at 11:59pm.
In the past few months, TNB Electron has been busy deploying new chargers in underserved areas. Last month, they have turned on a 180kW DC Charger at Petron Tanjung Gemok Rompin in Pahang which is the fastest EV charger in Endau-Rompin area.
Just a week ago, they turned on the first EV charging station at the Gerik-Jeli section with a 240kW DC charger located at Petron Batu Melintang in Jeli, Kelantan. This is followed by with two new 200kW DC Chargers at Petron Makmur Gambang Jaya 2 in Pahang.
