Tesla has just revealed the updated the Model 3 with several new features for Malaysian buyers. Similar to the Model Y update earlier this year, the electric sedan gets a few interior upgrades and refreshed wheel options.
The best part? Prices remain unchanged and even the entry-level Model 3 RWD gets some of the latest upgrades.
What’s new with Tesla Model 3 2026 update?

The most noticeable change inside is the larger 16-inch central touchscreen, replacing the previous 15.4-inch display. This follows a similar update introduced for the Model Y in Malaysia earlier this year.
Tesla has also switched the Model 3’s headliner to black, replacing the previous light-coloured finish around the roof and pillars.
For buyers looking for a lighter cabin, the previous Black and White interior option has been replaced by a new Zen Grey Interior which made its debut on the 6-seater Model Y L.

The updated Model 3 is also available with new 19-inch Dark Nova Wheels.
Another new addition is V2L Powershare support, which allows the Model 3 to power external appliances with its vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality.
Take note that the V2L adapter is sold separately and there’s no pricing and availability details yet for our market.

Interestingly, even the entry-level Model 3 RWD “Rahmah”gets some of the latest upgrades too. Despite being positioned as the most affordable version of the Model 3, it gets the new 16-inch touchscreen and black headliner, along with V2L support. However, there’s no option to change interior colours and wheels from the online configurator.
Beyond these changes, the rest of the Model 3 remains unchanged. Tesla has retained the existing motors, batteries and range figures for the respective variants.
