Do we have too many telcos in Malaysia? Or not enough telcos? | Let’s Talk About #69

For a population of just about 30 million, Malaysia has almost 10 telco operators. Yet, there are people who claim that we should invite MORE operators in so that we can get better service.

But, will that really be the case? Or, should we cut down on the number of telcos so that each provider can have a bigger chunk of the spectrum? And why are operators like Altel being given even more spectrum when their user base is so small? On this episode of Let’s Talk About, Amin and Alex explore this.

Let’s Talk About is also a podcast! Listen here, or search for SoyaCincau wherever you get your podcasts.
