More info on Celcom’s Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 offer

UPDATE: Unconfirmed Celcom plans and pricing here.

Celcom has revealed more info on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 event this Saturday on their website.

Apart from the launch event dates and location, they have revealed the outright Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 price at RM1,899.

As revealed earlier, KL, Penang & JB folks are able to get the Tab 10.1 for RM999 at limited quantities which are tied with 24 months contract of Celcom Broadband Basic/Advance Plans. On the plans, Celcom Broadband Basic offers 4GB of data at RM68/month while Celcom Broadband Advance offers 6GB at RM98/month.

There’s also a little surprise in KL where 20 lucky ones will get to bring the Tab 10.1 home for only RM99. No details on selection process have been revealed so far.

For those who signed up during the event, Celcom is also giving out Free Samsung premium items and with any purchase of Belkin products, you’ll also get free accessories worth RM258. What could the free accessories be? A dock or the bluetooth keyboard integrated case seen here.

Below is a recap on the accessories:
A keyboard dock (RM299)
Bluetooth keyboard with case (RM399)
“book cover” case (RM219)
Neoprene Pouch (RM129)
Desktop dock (RM109)
USB connection kit (RM109)
HDMI adapter (RM139).

So now begs the question, how much is the Galaxy Tab 10.1 on Celcom plans? It all depends on their subsidy amount. As comparison, they subsidised between RM400 to RM900 for their tablet plans. Realistically, we would expect the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to be offered around RM1200 – RM1500.

Keep it locked on to SoyaCincau.com as we will share the latest updates on the anticipated tablet.
