Poco X8 Specs and Features

Up front, the Poco X8 gets a 6.83-inch AMOLED display pushing a resolution of 2772×1280 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The device has a rated peak brightness of 3,500 nits covering 25% of the display area.
The screen supports 12-bit colour depth, DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, DC dimming and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. It also gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Under the hood, the Poco X8 is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. The device can be configured with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, with both variants getting 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

In the camera department, the Poco X8 gets a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS, accompanied by a 2MP f/2.4 depth camera. Up front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera.
Another highlight is its durability. The Poco X8 gets IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings, along with an SGS-certified three-metre drop resistance claim under specified laboratory test conditions.
There’s also a new Underwater Mode for the camera which is designed to work in static freshwater at a maximum depth of two metres for up to 30 minutes.
Other hardware features include dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and comes with Xiaomi HyperIsland, Google Gemini and Circle to Search with Google.

Finally, powering the Poco X8 is a massive 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery with 13% silicon content. Poco claims the X8 can deliver more than two days of battery life on a single charge based on its internal testing. It also claims the battery can retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 complete charge cycles, which it estimates to be equivalent to around six years of regular use.
For charging, the Poco X8 supports 67W HyperCharge via USB-C. It also offers up to 22.5W wired reverse charging, allowing its massive battery to double as a power bank for other devices.
Despite packing an 8,340mAh battery, the Poco X8 measures 8.6mm thick and weighs 223g.
