Apart from paying for toll charges, the Touch ‘n Go eWallet can now enable you to pay for street parking via your smartphone. This offers greater cashless convenience and you won’t need to look for parking ticket machines or fiddle around with paper tickets.

To pay for parking, just launch the Touch ‘n Go eWallet and tap on the Parking icon. Then, you’ll have to enter your vehicle details and the location. The parking rate varies depending on the area and you can find your location automatically via GPS or select from a list of locations.

The eWallet will also remind you 15 minutes before the parking is due and if you need to extend, you can do so via the app without having to return to your vehicle.

At the moment, the feature currently covers DBKL parking areas. According to Touch ‘n Go, they are expanding the feature to support more councils which include MPSJ, Perbadanan Putrajaya, Majlis Daerah Kuala Langat and Majlis Perbandaran Kota Bahru.

For more info, you can check out Touch ‘n Go’s Park ‘n Go page. The eWallet is available for download on the Apple AppStore and Google Play Store.
