Shortly after turning on 4 EV charge points at Sunway Pyramid’s CP2 Preferred Parking, DC Handal has turned on another EV charging location in the mall which offers faster DC charging.

Located at B1 Preferred Parking in Sunway Pyramid, DC Handal has deployed four DC charge points, capable of dispensing up to 220kW.

This makes it an ideal spot for a quick top up while you grab refreshments at the mall.

DC Handal has deployed an Autel DC charging solution featuring two satellite terminals that are equipped with two CCS2 nozzles each. It has a total capacity of 220kW which is shared dynamically across four nozzles.

The charging bays are located near Pillar Q23 of the B1 Preferred Parking area. They are priced at RM1.40 per kWh, which is slightly more than the 120kW DC Chargers at CP2, which are priced at RM1.30 per kWh.

As usual with DC Handal chargers, you can activate and pay for charging without using an app. Just tap your credit and debit card on the provided card terminal. The terminal also accepts TNG eWallet QR payment and you need to ensure that you have a minimum balance of RM150 for pre-authorisation.

Alternatively, you can also activate the charger via Gentari Go, ChargEV and the JomCharge app.

In total, DC Handal now has 6x DC charge points and 2x AC charge points in Sunway Pyramid. They are the fifth Charge Point Operator (CPO) in the development, after Gentari/JomCharge, Shell Recharge, ChargeSini and Tesla.
