If you need to charge your EV while entering or exiting Melaka via Ayer Keroh Toll Plaza, there’s now another DC charger that has just being turned on.
Gentari has deployed a DC charger at Petronas Ayer Keroh 3, located at a former NGV refuelling area. Interestingly, this is also Gentari’s first EV charger in the historical state.
The location also serves as an alternative off-highway charger for those who need to top up while travelling between Negeri Sembilan and Johor.
For this location at Petronas Ayer Keroh 3, Gentari has deployed a 110kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles. The charging bays are covered as it reuses the former NGV station structure.
Similar to most Gentari DC charging locations along the highway, the charger is priced at RM1.70 per kWh and you can enjoy 50% off (RM0.85 per kWh) if you’re a Gentari Go Power Pass subscriber.
To mitigate hogging, take note that Gentari imposes an overstay fee of RM1.50 per minute if your vehicle is still plugged in after 1 hour.
If you’re looking for more DC chargers, there’s also Charge+ EV charging hub at Amverton Heritage Resort which is located behind the Petronas station. Charge+ has deployed two 120kW DC Chargers with a total of four bays and they are priced at RM1.35 per kWh.
