To help you save money for your upcoming EV road trip, TNB Electron has announced a special promo where you can enjoy cheap DC charging for only RM1 per kWh at selected chargers.
The cheap charging promo is running for a month and it is applicable at 4 EV charging locations in Terengganu, Johor Bharu and Selangor.
Three of these chargers are low powered DC units except for the UNITEN Bangi location which has a 90kW DC Charger.
According to TNB Electron, the RM1 per kWh promo for EV charging is running from 25th December 2025 until 24th January 2026.
It is applicable only at the following locations:
- Petron Kg. Gemuroh Terengganu
- AEON Bandar Dato Onn Johor Bahru
- Lakeside @ UNITEN, Bangi, Selangor
- AEON Taman University Johor Bahru
The AEON Bandar Dato Onn and AEON Taman University locations get a 47kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles, meanwhile, the Petron Kg Gemuroh location gets a 34kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles.
The Lakeside @ UNITED location has the fastest charger on the promo list, with a DC Charger capable of dispensing up to 90kW and it also has two CCS2 nozzles.

In case you missed it, TNB Electron has turned on multiple 240kW DC Chargers with minimum 3 bays within TNB’s own premises. This includes Yard TNB Lundang in Kota Bharu, Wisma TNB Taiping, Yard TNB Mergong Alor Setar and TNB Bagan Serai.
