BYD Cars Malaysia has confirmed that the updated 2025 BYD Seal will be launched this Friday, 22 August.
The new 2025 BYD Seal comes with a slightly larger frunk (53L, up from 50L), redesigned alloys, a powered roof sunshade, and upgraded DiSus-C adaptive dampers.
2025 BYD Seal Variants
In Singapore, the updated Seal is offered in three variants:
- Dynamic (RWD): 134hp, 310Nm, 61.44kWh battery, 460km WLTP range
- Premium (RWD): 309hp, 360Nm, 82.56kWh battery, 570km WLTP range
- Performance (AWD): 523hp, 670Nm combined, 82.56kWh battery, 520km WLTP range
Charging tops out at 7kW AC/100kW DC for the Dynamic, and 7kW AC/150kW DC for the Premium and Performance. A 30–80% recharge can take as little as 32 minutes.
Safety kit includes nine airbags, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors front and rear, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert with braking, and a head-up display.
Local and final specifications for the 2025 BYD Seal will be announced at launch.
