Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Buds 3 FE which succeeds the previous Galaxy Buds FE. The new wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling (ANC) now features a “Blade design” with protruding stems and it offers improved audio performance and enhanced AI capabilities.
According to Samsung Malaysia, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE will be progressively available in Malaysia from 19th September.
There’s no local pricing just yet but in the US, these earbuds are priced at USD 149.99 (about RM634).
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE feature a smooth all-matte design in either Black and Grey finishes. It also comes with IP64-rated dust and splash resistance which is an improvement over the previous Buds FE’s IPX2 rating.
The new wireless earbuds also boasts larger speakers that promises richer and powerful sound with deeper bass, and it also 360 audio for an immersive surround audio experience. To cut out unwanted background noises, it also offers enhanced ANC and Crystal Clear Call technology to help isolate your voice while having conversations in noisy environments.
Users can fine tune their listening experience on the fly via the Quick Settings panel as it allows you to adjust EQ, noise control and set preset settings for different apps.
As Samsung continues to expand its Galaxy AI experience across its ecosystem, you can now get hands-free access to Gemini by simply saying “Hey Google”. The Gemini feature is supported on devices running on Samsung One UI 8.0 or later.
The stems on the earbuds themselves support swiping gestures for volume control and you can pinch them to control your media playback.
Paired with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE also doubles as a translation companion. There’s listening mode where you can pinch and hold the earbuds to listen to the speaker’s conversation and it will display the translation for you. Alternatively, there’s Conversation, mode, where it lets you hear the translation in real time when you face the smartphone’s mic towards the speaker while pinching the Galaxy Buds 3 FE.
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE offers effortless pairing with Galaxy devices and you can seamlessly switch between different devices such as your Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Book depending on where the audio is playing.
On a full charge, the Buds 3 FE offers a total listening time of up to 6 hours with ANC turned on or up to 8.5 hours with ANC turned off. With the charging case included, it offers a total of 30 hours of listening time.
