Since earlier this year (2025), Xiaomi has launched two of its Mijia home appliances in Malaysia, including its Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco series and the Mijia Refrigerator Cross Door 510L. Now, the brand has also announced that it will be bringing in the 2-in-1 Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer in Malaysia on the 7th of August.
10kg washer load, supports WiFi control via Xiaomi Home
As its name suggests, the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer comes with both a washer and dryer, featuring a maximum load of 10kg and 7kg, respectively. It features a 525mm diameter drum and is said to be able to perform up to 99.99% of bacteria removal.
To control the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer, you can either use the coloured touch panel on the machine itself or use the Xiaomi Home app to control it remotely, as it supports WiFi connection.
Also available is a Smart Wash mode, which uses a load-sensing system to automatically detect the laundry weight to optimise water volume and cycle time. Xiaomi says this helps improve energy efficiency.
In terms of quality assurance, the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer will come with a 12-year warranty for the direct motor. In markets like Singapore, the machine is also offered with a 2-year all parts warranty. We hope the Malaysian unit will get the same too when it launches here.
