The Asus Vivobook S 15 series has just gotten a new member here in Malaysia. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus chip, this new variant sits under the Snapdragon X Elite variant that was launched earlier this year.

Priced at RM4,899, the Snapdragon X Plus-powered Asus Vivobook S 15 joins its more premium sibling which features the Snapdragon X Elite SoC. You can purchase this Copilot-enabled laptop at the Asus eStore, as well as Asus’ authorised resellers, both offline and online.

The Asus Vivobook S 15 sports a light all-metal body, weighing just 1.42kg. It also has a slim chassis, measuring just 14.7mm thick, and has a 180° lay-flat hinge, making it a more versatile machine to work with.
Display-wise, the Asus Vivobook S 15 sports a 15.6″ 3K (2880 x 1620 pixels) 120Hz Asus Lumina OLED panel, laid out in a 16:9 aspect ratio. This display also has a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Typing with this laptop is enabled by the single-zone RGB backlit keyboard, which features a dedicated Copilot key for instant access to AI tools. This includes Copilot, Live Captions, and Cocreator. Speaking of AI, the Vivobook S 15 also comes with Asus’ in-house AI features such as StoryCube and AI Noise Cancelation.
Powering the entry-level Asus Vivobook S 15 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus processor and Adreno GPU. This is then paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
As for I/O ports, the Vivobook S 15 is equipped with two USB4 ports, two USB 3.2 ports, a HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In the connectivity department, it supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The Asus Vivobook S 15 is equipped with a 70Wh battery. With the Snapdragon X plus variant, battery life is said to be more than 19 hours. It also supports fast charging at 90W via USB-C. Software-wise, the Vivobook S 15 runs on Windows 11 Home, and is included with two years of global warranty coverage by Asus.
