Asus has just announced the arrival of what is perhaps their most stylish laptop yet, the Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition. As its name suggests, it’s a collaboration with the Japanese fashion and streetwear brand A Bathing Ape, also known as BAPE.
The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition certainly looks the part of course, being the first ever laptop to feature the BAPE camo look. It comes in two different colourways, with your choice of either the green camo or blue camo, and it’s not just the laptop itself adorning the BAPE look. The laptop will come with a bunch of accompanying accessories, such as a figurine, a mouse, a carry bag and a set of stickers, all coming in that BAPE finish. The logo on the laptop has a slight reflective quality to it, and even the touchpad will feature the BAPE camo finish.
As for the actual laptop itself, you’re actually looking at a rather powerful workhorse here. It packs a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor mated to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, while for its display you get a 15.6-inch, WQHD+ (2880 x 1620p) OLED display capable of a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2,600nits and full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
You’ll also find a 1080p webcam, a 75Wh battery, and support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. As for I/O, it gets a HDMI 1.4 port, a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB-A 2.0 port and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
