Apple Authorised Premium Reseller, Switch, is officially launching its first-ever Apple Premium Partner (APP) store in Sunway Pyramid. Similar to the recent stores opened by Machines in Pavilion KL and 1 Utama, a Premium Partner store aims to offer a more upmarket experience staffed by trained Apple-certified advisors.
According to Switch on its events page, the Sunway Pyramid APP store located at G1.26&27 on the Ground Floor is already open but the grand launch event is happening on Friday, 28th July 2023. To celebrate the occasion, they are offering special deals and activities, but we expect more details to be revealed closer to next week’s event.
In case you missed it, Malaysia is the first country to get an Apple Premium Partner Store in Southeast Asia. In terms of retail experience, it sits right below an official Apple Store and the store offers dedicated spaces for mini-events such as demos and training, as well as a corner to provide customised solutions for small business owners.
Apple has been expanding its retail presence in the region. Besides the expansion of new reseller stores, the Cupertino company is expected to open its first Apple Store in Malaysia sometime in February 2024 at The Exchange TRX.
