Astro has announced a new Pakej Jimat bundle where you can get fibre broadband and an Astro TV service for only RM109.99/month. This is a limited edition package that’s offered from 10th January until 7th March 2022.

The RM109.99 offer is based on Astro’s primary package that gives you access to 90 base channels along with Astro Go app streaming access. The plan comes with an Astro Ulti Box, which is their internet-connected set-top box that pushes Full HD 1080p resolution.

As usual, the plan is tied to a 24-month contract. Take note that you’re getting the RM109.99/month promo price for the first 24 months because of the monthly rebates. This means you’ll have to pay more after the 24-month contract period ends.

If you want more entertainment options, you can top up RM35/month for the Movies Pack or Sports Pack at RM30/month. Both add-ons include a Disney+ Hotstar subscription. With the add-ons, you’ll be enjoying a lower rebate of RM19/month instead of RM39/month but Astro is bundling the Ultra Box which pushes 4K resolution. With the Sports pack, you’ll be paying RM159.99/month and the Movies pack will cost you RM164.99/month for the first 24 months.

Besides offering 30Mbps via Maxis Broadband, Astro is also offering 50Mbps via Allo Broadband for the same price. Obviously, the fibre broadband options for your home are subject to availability.

Overall, Astro’s broadband + TV offer is quite affordable and it is cheaper than TM’s Unifi Fibre + Unifi TV bundle. At the moment, TM is offering 30Mbps Fibre Broadband bundled with Unifi TV (Ultimate Pack with 70 channels + streaming apps) for RM149/month on a 24-month contract. TM is also offering a free upgrade from 30Mbps to 100Mbps for 30 days.

For more info, you can check out Astro’s Pakej Jimat 109 promo page.
