Huawei P40 Pro spotted in the wild? | ICYMI #256

Since 5G will be the hype thing this year, it seems like Huawei will be releasing a couple of affordable 5G smartphones. And also Samsung is giving away a bunch of smartphones this coming Chinese New Year.

Huawei aims to release a sub-RM700 5G smartphone as early as end-2020

5G deployments will be increasing this year and that means we will have to rely on 5G enabled devices. To make 5G more accessible, Huawei is aiming to release a 5G smartphone around RM660 as early as end-2020 or early-2021.

The Huawei P40 series is expected to be revealed very soon and it will feature an upgraded camera setup that will take zooming to the next level. 

Samsung Malaysia is giving away over 1,000 phones this Chinese New Year

To celebrate Chinese New Year, Samsung is running a huge smartphone giveaway with a total of 1,094 smartphones that are worth RM1.2 million in value. 

New GrabCar drivers are offered RM800 in bonus and subsidies

Grab Malaysia is offering RM800 in value to any Malaysian that signs up as a new driver-partner from January until 31st March 2020.
