The OnePlus 5 is officially coming to Malaysia and now you can secure your unit before it goes on sale next week. Not only it comes with official warranty, it is also significantly cheaper than the import sets that were offered earlier.
Retailer DirectD has commenced an exclusive pre-order for the new flagship smartphone and these are official Malaysian sets with 1-year official Brightstar Malaysia warranty. If you’re wondering when you can get it, stocks are estimated to arrive by next Friday, 7 July.

OnePlus 5 – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage (Slate Grey) – RM2,388
OnePlus 5 – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage (Midnight Black) – RM2,688
The OnePlus 5 is a flagship smartphone which comes with a 5.5″ Full HD display that’s powered by Qualcomm’s 10nm Snapdragon 835 processor. You get the option of either 6GB or 8GB RAM along with storage options of either 64GB or 128GB. For the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model, it comes in Slate Grey while the higher spec variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage comes in midnight Black.
Over at the rear, the OnePlus 5 gets a dual-camera set up with 16MP + 20MP sensors that can do 2X Zoom. For selfies, it gets a 16MP front camera. Juicing up the device is a 3,300mAh battery which supports Dash Charging via USB Type-C. Out of the box, it runs on a stock-like Oxygen OS that’s based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
