If you’re looking for a much bigger device, the Huawei Ascend mate 7 is now available on contract from Maxis. The Premium Spec version, which comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage retails at RM1,999 but it can be yours from only RM599 with MaxisOne Plan.
The full bundled pricing from Maxis are as follows, with 24 months contract duration:
MaxisOne Plan (RM128/month) – RM599
MaxisOne Plan Lite (RM78/month) – RM799
During sign up, you’ll need to pay 4 months subscription fee upfront as advance payment and it will be used to offset your monthly bills across the next 4 months. MaxisOne Plan comes with 2GB of data while its Lite version comes with just 1GB. Both offers unlimited calls and SMS but the Lite option is restricted to Maxis to Maxis/Hotlink numbers only.
To recap on the specs, the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 gets a 6″ Full HD IPS display and it runs on its own Hi-Silicon Kirin 925 Octa-Core processor that’s clocked at 1.8GHz. It also has a 13MP BSI Sony sensor for its main camera and a 5MP selfie camera at the front. There’s also an expandable microSD slot, faster Cat 6 4G LTE and it is juiced up with a large 4,100mAh capacity battery.
The Ascend Mate 7 also comes with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner which lets you unlock the device instantly at a single touch. You can get more details of the device in our earlier announcement post.
