For those staying up late until the wee hours of the morning, U Mobile is now offering free non-stop video streaming to its Prepaid Unlimited Mobile Internet, Postpaid and Broadband Plan customers. This is applicable for YouTube (website/app) and Tonton video streaming (www.tonton.com.my) from 2AM until 10AM in the morning. Video streams outside of the free 8 hour period will utilise your existing internet quota.
According to its T&C, there’s a fair use policy of 500MB per day for video streaming which is refreshed on a daily basis. The free streaming promotion is valid from now until 31st December 2014, as part of its Vision 2 million customers. If it achieves its target, all subscribers will get to enjoy free calls and internet on New Year’s day. From 1st January 2015 onwards, the non-stop streaming service will be charged at RM3/month.
