Huawei will be announcing its new Ascend Mate 7 at the upcoming IFA 2014 in Berlin. If you’re wondering how it looks like, the device which is available in 2 variants have appeared on China’s TENAA certification listing which comes with supporting photos.

The two devices are actually identical and the difference lies on the radios with one supporting GSM/TD-LTE/CDMA while the other does GSM/TD-LTE/TD-SCDMA. In terms of specs, they are listed with a 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor with 2GB of RAM, while the screen is a 6 incher with Full HD resolution. It is also speculated that there would be a high-spec version which comes with 3GB of RAM and a display that pushes a higher Quad HD 2560×1440 resolution. Either that model has been canned or it is still in the process of certification.

The exterior design especially the back looks very similar with the HTC One Max. Even the fingerprint scanner is located at the back, which we find it very impractical to unlock if the device is lying on the table.

Head after the break to get a better view of the the Ascend Mate 7.
