Razer has officially launched the Barracuda V2 Pro in Malaysia, adding a new wireless headset to its audio lineup.
The new model is designed for everyday gaming across multiple platforms, allowing users to switch between desktop computers, gaming consoles, and mobile phones without changing headsets.
Key hardware highlights include custom 40 mm bio cellulose speakers, virtual surround sound, hybrid active noise cancellation, and a two way microphone setup built for indoor and outdoor use.
Razer Barracuda V2 Pro Malaysia pricing and availability
The Razer Barracuda V2 Pro is priced at RM969 in Malaysia.
The headset is currently available globally via Razer.com, physical RazerStores, and select retail partners worldwide.
Local buyers can also expect stocks to appear through authorised retailers across Malaysia, including official brand storefronts on Lazada and Shopee.
Razer Barracuda V2 Pro features hybrid active noise cancellation and spatial sound

To deliver clear audio, the Barracuda V2 Pro uses custom forty millimetre bio cellulose drivers. Razer tuned these speakers to produce clear high frequencies, clean voice tones, and deep bass without audio distortion.
When connected to a PC, the headset supports THX Spatial Audio Plus. This system creates a virtual 7.1.4 surround sound environment with four overhead audio channels, allowing listeners to hear sounds placed above them as well as around them.
The headset also features hybrid active noise cancellation. It relies on microphones placed both inside and outside the earcups to monitor outside sounds and mute background noise such as traffic and crowd chatter.
Razer Barracuda V2 Pro gets dual microphones and quick wireless switching

For voice communication, the headset offers a flexible microphone system that suits different environments.
Desktop gaming setups can use the detachable boom microphone for clear squad chat. For outdoor travel, users can remove the boom arm and rely on internal beamforming microphones hidden inside the earcups. Both microphone options use artificial intelligence to filter out surrounding background sounds during calls.
Wireless connectivity is handled by Razer HyperSpeed wireless on 2.4 GHz, which Razer claims is up to twice as fast as Bluetooth LE to minimise audio delay.
A dedicated Razer SmartSwitch button allows users to swap between 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connections. The headset also supports simultaneous audio playback across both connections, letting users take incoming phone calls without dropping out of their game.
Razer Barracuda V2 Pro offers 70 hour battery life
The Barracuda V2 Pro weighs 285 grams and features a lay flat folding structure for easy storage in a bag.
Razer has also integrated a storage slot inside the frame to hold the wireless USB dongle securely during travel. The headset includes memory foam ear cushions and an adjustable padded headband for comfort during long gaming sessions.
Razer claims the internal battery delivers up to 70 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, providing several days of use before requiring a recharge.
