Huawei will be making an announcement at the upcoming IFA 2014 in Berlin. From its official invite, it will be the Ascend Mate 7 which will be unveiled on 4th September. The new Mate 7 is expected to feature a fingerprint scanner, which Huawei claims to be different from the rest.

Early speculation suggests that the Ascend Mate 7 would come in 2 versions. The high-end model is expected to come with a 6″ QHD display that does 2560×1440 while the lower-spec version settles for a 6″ screen with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution. Both are expected to run on their very own Octa-Core Kirin 920 processor with 3GB of RAM (2GB for lower-spec), 13MP main camera and a front facing 5MP shooter. You can also expect 4G LTE support as well as the latest Android 4.4 KitKat and Emotion UI 3.0 installed out of the box.

Check out the rest of its invite after the break.
