DC Handal has turned on its EV charging location in Sunway Pyramid. With the latest addition, there are now a total of five Charge Point Operators in the mall which also include Tesla Supercharger, Gentari/JomCharge, Shell Recharge and ChargeSini.
Located at Level CP2 Preferred Parking, DC Handal has deployed a total of 4 charging bays consisting of AC and DC charge points.
These chargers are ideal for those who need a quick top up or intend to charge up while shopping or dining at mall.
The DC Handal EV charging location at Level CP2 Preferred parking is equipped with an Autel DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles that can deliver up to 120kW. There are also two individual Autel AC Charge points that can deliver up to 22kW.
Like most DC Handal locations, the DC Charger is priced at RM1.30 per kWh while AC Charge points are priced at RM1.00 per kWh.
The four charging bays are located next to the current Shell Recharge EV charging bays.
With DC Handal, you can activate and pay for charging without using any app. Just tap your credit or debit card at the provided contactless card terminal. The terminal also supports TNG eWallet and it will require a minimum balance of RM150 for pre-authorisation.
Alternatively, you can also activate the charger via ChargEV, JomCharge or Gentari Go.
Besides this location, there’s another upcoming DC Charging location in the mall located at Level B1 Preferred Parking.
As shown above, this new location features Autel DC Charging solution with two satellite terminals which offer a total of four DC charge points.
