TNB Electron has turned on a new DC charger in Ipoh and it is their 3rd location in the city after RPGC and Wisma TNB Ipoh.
The latest EV charger location is at Hotel Casuarina Meru which has a 120kW DC Charger with two bays.
As part of its opening, they are also offering complimentary EV charging for a limited time for today only.
For this location, TNB Electron has deployed a standalone 120kW DC charger with two CCS nozzles, which is located near the lobby entrance. The charger is priced at RM1.50 per kWh and you can activate it without an app.
To pay and activate the charger, just tap your credit or debit card at the contactless JuiceUP terminal. If you need a receipt, just scan the QR code on the terminal.
The Hotel Casuarina Meru charger is open to the public today (5th May 2026). If you’re around the area, you can enjoy free charging from 8:00am until 11:59pm for today only.
Besides this location, TNB Electron has also deployed a DC Charger at Hotel Casuarina in Kuala Kangsar last year. However, it is still not available to the public at the time of writing.
