Marvelux Hotel, Melaka is a new JomCharge EV charging location which offers both AC and DC fast charging. If you’re driving a Nissan Leaf, you’ll be happy to know that the DC charger comes with a CHAdeMO nozzle.

The Marvelux Hotel EV charging location is located on the ground floor and it consists of a 50kW Kempower DC charger that has both CCS2 and CHAdeMO connectors. The charger is priced at RM1.20 per minute and it can deliver up to 50kW for each nozzle.

For those who plan to charge over a longer duration, there are also two 11kW charge points next to the DC charging bay. The AC charge points are priced at RM0.10 per minute, which is equivalent to RM6 per hour. You can activate these chargers via the JomCharge app.

If you prefer a DC charger that uses kWh-based pricing, there’s a 60kW DC charger deployed by ChargEV at Starbucks Kota Laksamana Drive-Thru which is located less than 2km away. The charger is priced at RM1.20 per kWh and it offers up to 60kW with a single nozzle or 30kW when two nozzles are in use.
