In case you didn’t know, Samsung Malaysia has an Education Store that offers discounts for students and employees of an accredited educational institution. As part of its Back to School deal, students in Malaysia can get an extra 5% discount on their first purchase on Samsung Malaysia online store. This is somewhat similar to Apple’s Education pricing.

There’s currently a Samsung Student offer page on their official website but you’ll need to have a Samsung login linked to an official education email address that ends with .edu.my to view the pricing. Some of the devices on student offer include the current Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Tab S8 series as well as other wearables such as the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2.

According to Samsung, all orders come with free delivery and students can enjoy 0% interest instalment plans for up to 24 months. If you have an existing device, you can also trade it in as well.

If this is your first purchase from the Samsung Education Store, you can save an extra 5% by using the promo code EPPWELCOME5.

According to the FAQ, current and newly accepted full-time or part-time students or employees of an accredited educational institution in Malaysia are eligible to the offer as long as they have a valid email address (edu.my). The products purchased are meant for personal use and Samsung has set a limit of two products per category per calendar year. Your purchase eligibility is shown under the My Quota section on the Samsung Education page.

The Samsung Education purchase is only meant for users in Malaysia and they can’t ship it outside of Malaysia. The discounts cannot be transferred to other users.

For more info, you can check out Samsung’s Education Page.
