Find out how many times you ordered food from Grab in 2021

If you didn’t know, you could look at your own personalised “Year In Cravings” on your Grab app (iOS, Android). It’s pretty similar to the Spotify Wrapped feature people look forward to every year now, except that it’s to show you almost embarrassing details you might not want to admit—like how many times you’ve ordered that one food item in 2021.

Grab’s Year In Cravings isn’t a new feature they’ve put out. I’ve noticed that they’ve given us the same feature last year, and apparently they’ve also been doing it since 2018.

In the previous years, they’ve shared personalised information based on how many times we’ve taken Grab rides, as well as GrabFood delivery picks. But this year, it’s only concentrated on GrabFood—which makes sense as we’ve been utilising food delivery services more often during the pandemic.

To find your personalised Year In Cravings, visit the Grab app’s homepage and scroll a bit further down until you see “Discover Your 2021 Taste” with the Year In Cravings button. You’ll then be greeted with a separate page where you can view the results based on your food ordering habits.

You’ll find out information like how many food delivery orders you’ve made in total, how many restaurants you’ve supported, what day of the week do you often order food, your top three restaurants, the food item you’ve ordered most, your biggest splurge, and others. My own Year In Cravings wasn’t too surprising, seeing how often I ordered coffee this year. But I enjoyed finding out that I particularly enjoyed the “Butterfly Bun” from I Love Yoo!

We don’t know how long the Year In Cravings feature will remain in the app, but we recommend you check it out before the new year. However, Grab has previously posted their Year In Reviews right before the new year so there’s a possibility that the feature will remain until early next year.

Besides Grab and Spotify, Facebook and Instagram have also shared their own Year In Reviews. On Facebook, your personalised “Year Together” card reflects on your year on the platform and curates it into a shareable card. On Instagram, you can share a custom end-of-year “Playback” time capsule to your Stories.
