Nothing, the London-based startup, has finally released its Ear (1) transparent earbuds in Malaysia. Malaysia is the first country in Southeast Asia to launch the new wireless earbuds. If you’re interested to get a pair, here’s everything you need to know.

Nothing Ear (1) Pricing in Malaysia

The Nothing Ear (1) is officially priced at RM499 and it will be available starting from 16th October 2021. If you’re interested, you can purchase online at the official Nothing Malaysia store on Shopee. The Ear 1 will also be available through authorised retailers including Senheng, Harvey Norman, Mobile2Go, DirectD, Satu Gadget and more.

Nothing Ear (1) Specs

The Nothing Ear 1 stands out for its transparent design for the stems while the bud itself is still completely opaque. Similar to the AirPods Pro, it also has active noise cancellation and transparency mode, so that you can hear what’s going on around you. Each earbud has an 11.6mm speaker driver and Nothing has included replaceable ear tips in S, M and L sizes.

On a single charge, the Ear (1) can last up to 4 hours with ANC enabled or up to 5.7 without ANC. With the bundled transparent case, you can get a total of 24 hours of playback with ANC or up to 34 hours without ANC. The case charges via USB-C and it also supports wireless charging with Qi charging standard.

The Ear (1) has IPX4 rated splash resistance and has support for fast pairing. It supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and works with both Android or iPhone devices. You can learn more about the earbuds in our Ear 1 announcement post.
