This is it! The Samsung Galaxy S21 is launching next week as Samsung has confirmed its Galaxy Unpacked event that’s taking place on the 14th of January 2021.

The event is themed “Welcome to the Everyday Epic” and the teaser image appears to show its new camera bump for the new Galaxy S21 series. The new Galaxy S21 trio has been leaked extensively including its top of the line Galaxy S21 Ultra which is expected to support the S Pen.

Samsung said in the past year, mobile technology has taken centre stage as people are working remotely and spending more time at home. According to the invite, the accelerated transition to a mobile-first world brings the need for devices that can transform everyday life into an extraordinary experience.

The new Galaxy flagship will be unveiled at 11pm Malaysian time on Thursday, 14th January 2021. As usual, the event will be streamed live on Samsung’s website as well as their official YouTube channel.

To be among the first to get the latest updates for the Galaxy S21, Samsung Malaysia has started its registration of interest on their website. Those who register will be entitled to redeem the Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 fitness band (worth RM179) when they pre-order the new Galaxy flagship.

For 2021, Samsung appears to ramping things up with its new 5nm Exynos 2100 processor which is expected to be just as good if not better than the Snapdragon 888. However, when it comes to packaging, it seems that the Korean smartphone maker will be making a controversial move to ditch its charger and earphones for its new flagship.

Since Malaysia is a key market, we expect pre-orders to start shortly after the global Galaxy Unpacked event. Word has it that the device could go on sale in less than week, making it the fastest rollout yet for a new Galaxy S model.
