Heading to KL East Mall with an EV? You can now charge up your EV while you shop at the mall.

ChargEV has turned on its first few EV chargers located at Level 1 of the upper floor carpark and more charge points will be turned on very soon.

This comes after Shell Recharge’s AC charge points have been decommissioned in the mall.

ChargEV has deployed two 22kW AC Charge points at Level 1 (L1 Floor) of KL East Mall carpark which are located opposite Pillar H22. These chargers are priced at RM1.00 per kWh and they can be activated via ChargEV, JomCharge and Gentari Go.

Take note that ChargEV is imposing idle fees for this location. If you do not move your within 20 minutes, an idle fee of RM0.50 per minute will be charged.

From now until 11pm 5th November 2026, ChargEV is offering 20% discount for this location. Just apply the promo code KLEM26 in the ChargEV app before you activate the charger.

Besides this location, ChargEV is also deploying more EV chargers at the basement carpark of KL East Mall. There will be multiple charge points consisting of both AC and DC Chargers.
