Meta has officially introduced Meta One, a unified subscription service designed to offer expanded artificial intelligence capabilities, advanced creative expression options, and professional management tools across its app ecosystem.

While basic functionality across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Meta AI remains free for general users, Meta One establishes unified bundle tiers for heavy users alongside standalone options.

Individual Plus plans previously launched in Malaysia

As covered previously, Meta introduced individual product subscriptions locally.

hese individual plans unlock platform specific customisation options such as custom fonts, story rewatch insights, extended 48 hour story durations, and expanded chat pinning limits without altering core free app features.

Local pricing for standalone subscriptions breaks down as follows:

  • WhatsApp Plus: RM3.50 per month
  • Instagram Plus: RM4.50 per month
  • Facebook Plus: RM4.50 per month
  • All three standalone plans combined: RM12.50 per month

Meta One bundle pricing

Meta One expands upon standalone subscriptions by offering bundled tiers that combine individual app perks with compute intensive artificial intelligence capabilities.

Global USD pricing for individual and power user tiers includes:

  • Core bundle: USD 7.99 (approx. RM33) per month
  • Premium bundle: USD 19.99 (approx. RM82) per month

The Core bundle combines individual app features with expanded AI allowances for generating media, editing images with Instagram Restyle, and creating videos using Muse models.

The Premium bundle provides the highest tier of AI processing capacity across the entire app family.

Business and creator tiers add automated management tools

For creators and commercial accounts looking to expand their reach, Meta One offers specialised plans with built in automated management tools:

  • Essential plan: Starting at USD 14.99 (approx. RM61) per month
  • Advanced plan: Starting at USD 49.99 (approx. RM205) per month
  • Expert plan: Starting at USD 149 (approx. RM611) per month
  • Max plan: Starting at USD 499 (approx. RM2,046) per month

The Essential tier includes enhanced profile features, prominent follow buttons on Reels, automated follow invitations, verified account badges, and around the clock customer replies via Meta Business Agent.

Advanced tiers add 30 day story scheduling, links in organic posts, exportable analytics, and shared team access. Expert and Max plans are designed for high volume enterprise operations.

Availability and feature roadmap

Meta claims that this feature is currently rolling out globally, having already reached 15 million active subscriptions and trial users across more than 50 initial features.

Meta is rolling out the subscription service gradually, with features expanding to include cloud storage on the Edits app and future smart glasses integration.

You can subscribe to Meta One directly through Facebook and Instagram. However, at the time of writing, Meta One is currently not available in Malaysia, which is why there is no official Malaysian pricing for the service yet.
