Commuters on the Kelana Jaya LRT line are experiencing delays today following a technical disruption involving the train signalling and communication system near the USJ 21 station.
Rapid KL announced that train services between the USJ 21 and Taipan stations are currently being operated manually to maintain operational safety.
Slower train movement and extended platform stops
Due to the temporary switch to manual train control along the affected stretch, trains are travelling at reduced speeds.
Passengers should also expect longer dwell times at platform stops along this segment while technical crews carry out essential restoration works on the system.
Ground support deployed as technical teams work on recovery
To assist commuters and manage crowd movement, auxiliary police officers and station personnel have been stationed across the affected locations.
Rapid KL stated that its technical team is actively working to resolve the signalling instability and restore regular automated operations as quickly as possible.
Commuters are advised to check official Rapid KL social media platforms or the MyRapid PULSE mobile application for regular service updates.
