Acer’s new CA1 smart monitors roll around your home on wheels, priced from RM2,699 in Malaysia

Acer Malaysia has officially expanded its monitor lineup locally with the arrival of its CA1 series smart monitors, comprising the 27-inch CA271 and 31.5-inch CA321QK alongside the Predator X27U W2 gaming monitor.

Essentially big-screen Android smart displays on wheels, the CA1 series are portable monitors that come with a movable stand and a built-in battery for cordless use.

Pricing, pre-orders, and complimentary gifts

The 31.5-inch 4K Acer CA321QK is available immediately for RM3,499, backed by a 3-year pick-up and return warranty. Meanwhile, the 27-inch Acer CA271 is priced at RM2,699 and is open for pre-orders through 30 September 2026.

Early buyers who purchase an Acer CA1 monitor before 30 September 2026 will receive a complimentary portable display. The CA321QK comes bundled with an 18.5-inch Acer PM191QE portable monitor (worth RM469), while pre-orders for the CA271 include a 15.6-inch Acer PM161QJ2 portable monitor (worth RM299), available while stocks last.

Wheeled ErgoStand design and battery power

The Acer CA1 series comes equipped with a wheeled ErgoStand, allowing the display to be moved between rooms for productivity, viewing recipes in the kitchen, or streaming content in the bedroom. The stand provides up to 200mm of height adjustment, 90-degree pivot into portrait orientation, and tilt adjustments from -20° to 20° to accommodate seated, standing, or reclining viewing positions.

Both CA1 models feature an integrated battery that supports up to three hours of wireless usage, allowing the monitor to operate without being plugged into a power outlet.

Acer CA1 Series specifications and smart features

Both Acer CA1 27-inch and 31.5-inch monitors feature non-glare VA panels with 60Hz refresh rates, 178-degree viewing angles, and 10-point touch support. The 31.5-inch CA321QK delivers 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) with 250 nits brightness, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and 85% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

Meanwhile, the 27-inch CA271 offers Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) with 260 nits brightness, a 4000:1 contrast ratio, and 99% sRGB colour coverage. Both panels support 1.07 billion colours (8-bit + FRC).

For physical connectivity, the 31.5-inch CA321QK includes an HDMI 2.0 port, a USB Type-C port (with 10W power delivery), and a USB 3.0 port. The 27-inch CA271 comes equipped with an HDMI 2.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, and a USB 3.0 port. Audio is handled by dual 8W speakers on the CA321QK, whereas the CA271 features a quad-speaker system comprising two 5W tweeters and two 5W mid-woofers.

Powered by Android 14 with built-in Wi-Fi and Google Play Store access, the CA1 series streams content directly from apps such as Netflix and YouTube without requiring an external source device. Additional connectivity features include wireless screen mirroring, IoT smart home integration via Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support for external peripherals like keyboards, mice, or speakers. Both models also come with an integrated 8MP camera equipped with a physical sliding privacy shutter for video calls.

Acer also introduced the Predator X27U W2 gaming display, featuring a 26.5-inch WQHD QD-OLED panel. It offers a 240Hz refresh rate, a 0.03ms response time, 99% DCI-P3 color coverage, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility, and HDMI 2.1 ports.
