Samsung Malaysia has officially expanded its Odyssey monitor lineup locally, introducing two new high-resolution IPS displays featuring switchable refresh rates and up to 6K resolution.
The new lineup is headlined by the 32-inch Odyssey G8 G80HS, which debuts as Samsung’s first-ever 6K resolution gaming monitor.
Alongside it, Samsung is also introducing the 27-inch Odyssey G8 G80HF, offering a 5K display in a more compact form factor.
Dual-mode high refresh rates for work and gaming
What makes these new Odyssey G8 displays stand out is Samsung’s Dual Mode technology, which lets you instantly switch between high-resolution productivity and high-frame-rate gaming modes depending on what you’re doing. The 32-inch Odyssey G8 G80HS operates natively at a razor-sharp 6K resolution at 165Hz, but you can drop it down to 3K resolution at 330Hz whenever you want to jump into competitive games.
Similarly, the 27-inch Odyssey G8 G80HF runs natively at 5K resolution at 180Hz for crisp text and detailed media editing, or toggles down to QHD 1440p resolution at 360Hz for maximum motion smoothness. Both models also feature HDR10+ Gaming technology to dynamically optimize contrast, brightness, and shadow detail across your games and creative apps.

You can get both monitors in Malaysia now with special promo pricing under the Samsung Online Merdeka Screen & Sound Upgrade Promotion, which runs until 30 September 2026.
The 27-inch Samsung Odyssey G8 G80HF is currently discounted to RM3,099 from its standard retail price of RM3,799. Meanwhile, the top-tier 32-inch 6K Odyssey G8 G80HS is available for RM4,699 compared to its usual price of RM6,299.
