If you own a Zeekr vehicle in Malaysia, you can now enjoy a preferential rate for DC Handal EV chargers. The special EV charging rate is offered as part of Zeekr’s initiative to enhance its EV ownership experience as it expands its Zeekr Power partnership with local charge point operators (CPO).
With its ongoing collaboration with DC Handal, Zeekr owners can enjoy a discounted rate of RM1.20 per kWh across all DC Handal charging stations nationwide.
In addition, Zeekr and DC Handal are also expanding their Zeekr Power branded EV chargers to provide more range confidence along the North South Expressway (PLUS).
How to activate DC Handal RM1.20 per kWh rate?
If you are currently a Zeekr owner in Malaysia, here’s how to activate the preferential EV charging rate:
- Download the ChargEV app (Google Play Store, Apple App Store).
- Register a ChargEV account.
- Complete the onboarding form using the same email address as your ChargEV account. Your vehicle details including VIN is required.
- Wait for preferential charging rate to appear for DC Handal chargers in your ChargEV account.
The onboarding process should be completed within 24 hours after submitting the online form.
One reflected, just use your ChargEV app to activate DC Handal chargers to enjoy the cheaper RM1.20 per kWh rate. The rate is applicable at all DC Handal locations, not just Zeekr Power branded locations.
DC Handal’s high-powered chargers are typically priced between RM1.30 to RM1.50 per kWh.
Zeekr Power x DC Handal to cover more highway locations
At the moment, there are five Zeekr Power branded EV chargers on the DC Handal network, located at the following locations:
- Amanjaya Mall, Sungai Petani, Kedah – 240kW DC Charger (2 bays)
- Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang – 240kW DC Charger (4 bays)
- MH Hotel, Ipoh, Perak – 120kw DC Charger (2 bays)
- Sunway Pyramid Mall, Petaling Jaya – 220kW DC Charger (4 bays)
- Symphony Suites Hotel Ipoh – 240kW DC Charger (2 bays)
According to DC Handal, three more locations are opening soon.
As revealed by Zeekr Malaysia recently, two new Zeekr Power branded locations are opening along the North South Expressway.
This includes PLUS Plaza Toll Plaza Sungkai in Perak and PLUS Plaza Toll Bukit Gambir in Johor. Both locations are targeted for Q4 2026 completion.
