If you’re heading to Yong Peng, there’s now a new 200kW DC Charger in town deployed by JomCharge.

In the past couple of weeks, JomCharge has been turning on new EV chargers located at McDonald’s. This week, they have officially announced the opening of its latest #JomChargeDiMekdi location at McDonald’s Yong Peng Drive-Thru.

Located about 3km away from Yong Peng North toll plaza, this is also an alternative off-highway EV charger for those travelling between Melaka and Johor.

For this new EV charging location at McDonald’s Yong Peng DT, JomCharge has deployed a standalone Kempower DC charger that delivers a maximum output of 200kW.

The EV charger is priced at RM1.40 per kWh and you can save more if you have a JomCharge Elite or JomCharge Platinum membership.

While the DC Charger has a maximum capacity of 200kW, each nozzle is limited to 100kW each. The charger can be activated via JomCharge, Gentari Go and ChargEV app.

To celebrate the launch of the new DC Charger in Yong Peng, JomCharge is offering 50% discount for one month from 14th August until 14th September 2026. This means, you can enjoy DC charging for only RM0.70 per kWh.

You can even save more if you have a JomCharge Elite or JomCharge Platinum membership, as the discount is stackable with the month-long 50% off promo.
