Huawei has officially been announced as an event partner for the inaugural GSMA M360 ASEAN 2026.
The regional tech and telecommunications gathering is scheduled to take place in Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur on the 9th and 10th of September 2026.
The partnership was confirmed during a document exchange ceremony between GSMA Head of Asia Pacific Julian Gorman and Huawei Asia Pacific Vice President of ICT Marketing and Solution Sales Jason Tao.
Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Chief Corporate and International Officer Syahrilazli Mahammad was also present to witness the signing.
M360 ASEAN 2026 aims to gather mobile operators, policymakers, and technology partners to map out the future of Southeast Asia’s digital ecosystem.
Key topics will centre on the continuing evolution of 5G networks, artificial intelligence, and the region’s overall digital transformation.
According to Gorman, the event is designed to accelerate the digital and economic success of the ASEAN region on a global stage by bringing together leaders across the government, telecommunications, and technology sectors.
Huawei representatives will be participating in event discussions across the two days to engage with stakeholders on the convergence of connectivity, computing, and AI.
The firm aims to address how integrating AI into networks and digital services can serve as the foundation for the region’s technological and economic development.
Those interested in attending the event can register now via the official GSMA registration portal.
