Tune Talk NextGEN: Win up to RM5,000 cash and an internship by creating AI ads

Tune Talk has officially launched Tune Talk NextGEN, a nationwide youth initiative challenging Malaysian students aged 18 to 25 to step into the role of digital creators under the prompt Create an AI-generated ad that best represents Tune Talk.

Running from 1 July to 30 November 2026, the campaign invites students to design AI-generated advertisements for the mobile brand, offering a RM10,000 cash prize pool and career-building internships for top creators.

What is the Tune Talk NextGEN challenge?

The initiative aims to tap into Gen Z’s familiarity with emerging AI tools while providing students with portfolio-building opportunities and direct industry exposure.

Participants are tasked with creating either a short video under 60 seconds or a static visual that represents the Tune Talk brand. Entries must incorporate AI-generated elements, whether visual assets, scripts, or voiceovers, and integrate telco-centric themes such as mobile data, network speed, or rewards.

RM10,000 cash prizes and internship offers

Tune Talk is splitting a total prize pool of RM10,000 among the top three submissions. The Grand Prize winner will take home RM5,000 in cash, while the first and second runners-up will receive RM3,000 and RM2,000 respectively.

Alongside the cash prizes, all three winners will be offered an optional six-month internship with Tune Talk, giving them hands-on industry experience straight out of the contest.

How to participate

Eligible students simply need to create an AI-generated visual or short video under 60 seconds showcasing Tune Talk, publish it publicly on Instagram, and tag @TuneTalk while including both #TuneTalk and #TuneTalkNextGen in the caption.

For students who prefer to create on-site, Tune Talk will also be bringing the challenge directly to campuses across the country through a nationwide university roadshow, allowing students to produce and submit entries on the spot.

Shortlisting and eligibility verification

Three finalists will be shortlisted at the end of every month throughout the campaign and notified via Instagram Direct Messages (DMs). Shortlisted students must then provide a valid Student ID, MyKad copy, and signed Consent Form within seven working days to verify their identities and eligibility.

The final winners will be selected by a Tune Talk panel using a creativity-based evaluation framework and will be officially announced in November 2026.

To find out more or review the campaign terms, head over to the official Tune Talk website or follow their social channels on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X.
