Oppo Malaysia has officially launched the Reno16 Series. This year’s lineup consists of three models: the Reno16 Pro, Reno16 and Reno16 F which brings refreshed designs, larger batteries, new AI-powered photography features and ColorOS 16.
Leading the lineup is the Reno16 Pro, featuring a compact 6.32″ display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 8550 Super chipset and a 200MP main camera.
The Reno16 offers a similar compact form factor powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the more affordable Reno16 F packs an even larger 7,000mAh battery.
Oppo Malaysia is also running a roadshow at IOI City Mall, where customers can extra deals including rebates.

The Reno16 Pro is available in Pop White and Starlight Black, while the Reno16 comes in Pop White, Twilight Violet and Dream Purple. Meanwhile, the more affordable Reno16 F is also offered in Pop White, Twilight Violet and Dream Purple.

Oppo Reno16 Pro Malaysia specs and features
The Oppo Reno16 Pro features a compact 6.32″ Crystal Shield AMOLED display that pushes a FullHD+ resolution of 2640×1216, up to a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits brightness.
Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the Reno16 Pro gets an “Ultra-Clear” 200MP main camera with OIS, accompanied by a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom, plus a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Selfies are handled by a 50MP front camera with a 100-degree field of view.
Keeping the lights on is a 6,700mAh battery with support for 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge. Other highlights include stereo speakers, NFC, an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68, IP69 and IP69K dust and water resistance, as well as ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

The Reno16 also gets a similar-sized 6.32″ Crystal Shield AMOLED FullHD+ display as the Pro model, but it pushes 120Hz instead of 144Hz. Under the hood, it runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.
It is available with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, paired with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The rear packs three 50MP cameras comprising a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom, plus a 50MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it gets a 50MP selfie shooter with a 100-degree field of view.
Like the Pro model, the Reno16 packs a 6,700mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, while retaining IP68, IP69 and IP69K dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, NFC and ColorOS 16.
OPPO Reno16 F Malaysia specs and features
The Reno16 F is the most affordable model in the lineup and features a larger 6.57″ AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset, paired with either 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, it features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies.
One of its biggest highlights is the larger 7,000mAh battery, which also supports 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge. The Reno16 F also carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings, while running on ColorOS 16.
New AI photography and productivity features
The Reno16 Series introduces several new AI-powered tools aimed at content creators. Pop Cam adds vintage-inspired shooting styles directly within the Camera app, while AI Remix Collage allows users to combine photos, Motion Photos and videos into animated collages with stickers and text. Popout Collage 2.0 adds another creative option by allowing subjects to extend beyond the frame.
The new lineup also debuts AI Snap Key for quick access to AI Mind Space, where users can instantly capture and organise important information. Other additions include AI Mind Pilot, AI Bill Manager, AI Menu Translation, AI LinkBoost 4.0, 4K Auto Straighten Video and Dual View Video 2.0.
