Realme 16 and 16T Malaysia: Slim 7,000mAh and 8,000mAh battery smartphones, now available from RM1,299

Realme Malaysia has officially launched the Realme 16 and Realme 16T which focuses on long battery life.

The two new phones boast some of the largest batteries in their respective price segments, with the Realme 16 packing a 7,000mAh battery in a slim and lightweight body. Meanwhile, the Realme 16T goes even bigger with an 8,000mAh battery that is said to be able to last up to two days on a single charge.

Besides large batteries, both smartphones also offer 120Hz displays, AI-powered camera features and IP69-rated dust and water resistance durability.

Realme 16 and Realme 16T Malaysia Pricing and Availability

Here’s the official pricing for the Realme 16 and 16T in Malaysia:

  • Realme 16 5G 8GB + 256GB – RM1,599 (Promo: RM1,499)
  • Realme 16T 5G 8GB + 256GB – RM1,399 (Promo: RM1,299)

As part of its first sale promotion beginning 13 June 2026, the Realme 16 will be available for RM1,499, while the Realme 16T can be purchased for RM1,299.

The Realme 16 is available in Air White and Air Black colour options, while the 16T is offered in Starlight Green and Aurora Black.

Early bird customers will also receive free gifts worth up to RM537. This includes an Aisolove Handheld Fan, one-year extended warranty and a 180-day screen crack warranty.

Realme 16 Specs and Features

The Realme 16‘s headline feature is its 7,000mAh Titan Battery, which is housed inside a body measuring just 8.1mm thick and weighing 183g. According to Realme, this is the lightest smartphone in its class to feature a 7,000mAh battery.

The phone also introduces an iPhone Air-inspired “Air Design”, featuring a horizontal camera layout and a built-in Selfie Mirror that allows users to frame selfies while using the rear camera.

Up front, the device features a 6.57″ AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2372×1080) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4,200 nits. Under the hood, it runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 5G processor paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For photography, the Realme 16 gets a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS alongside a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome camera, while selfies are handled by a 50MP f/2.4 front camera.

Keeping the lights on is the 7,000mAh battery which supports 60W SUPERVOOC charging. The device also carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Realme says the smartphone is certified to deliver up to 72 months of smooth performance.

Realme 16T Specs and Features

Meanwhile, the Realme 16T focuses on delivering maximum battery life with its larger 8,000mAh battery. Realme claims the device can provide up to two days of usage on a single charge, while its 7-Year Battery Health technology is designed to maintain long-term battery durability.

The smartphone features a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 5G processor paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For photography, the Realme 16T features a 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX852 main camera and a secondary 2MP monochrome sensor. Similar to the Realme 16, it also includes a rear Selfie Mirror and AI-powered imaging tools such as AI Portrait Glow, AI Popout Collage, AI StyleMe and AI Instant Clip. On the front, it gets a 16MP f/2.4 selfie camera.

The 8,000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, 15W reverse charging and bypass charging. For durability, the Realme 16T is rated IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for water and dust resistance, while also featuring military-grade shock protection. It runs Realme UI 7.0 with Flux Engine optimisation, which Realme claims can provide up to six years of smooth performance.
