WCE now supports TNG eWallet PayDirect at all toll plazas

West Coast Expressway (WCE) is now PayDirect enabled and it is said to be the first end-to-end interstate highway to do so.

With PayDirect, WCE highway users can enjoy seamless toll payment as the toll charges are deducted directly from their TNG eWallet account. As long as your TNG eWallet balance is sufficient, you don’t need to worry about getting stuck at the toll plaza.

The integration takes effect at all sections of WCE effective 1st May 2026.

How to enable PayDirect in TNG eWallet

To use PayDirect, you’ll need to link your physical TNG card to your TNG eWallet. This can be done by launching your TNG eWallet, tap on “Cards” on the top shortcut bar and then tap on TNG Card.

Once your physical TNG card is added, tap on the “three dots”, and ensure that PayDirect is enabled. The PayDirect feature works for both direct TNG payment as well as SmartTAG payments.

In case you missed it, TNG eWallet has an SOS Balance feature for eligible PayDirect users. If your TNG eWallet balance is insufficient, the feature will provide a temporary credit line for 24 hours. This eliminates the dreadful “BAKI KURANG” situation and you can continue with your journey smoothly.

Take note that you’ll need to settle outstanding toll payments within 24 hours. All you’ll need to do is to reload your eWallet and the outstanding amount will be deducted automatically.

WCE Section 4 has yet to open

Temporary U Turn added at the end of Section 4

At the moment, 8 out of 11 sections of WCE have been opened. This includes Section 1, 2, 5 and 6 in the Selangor Alignment and Section 8, 9, 10 and 11 in the Perak Alignment.

Section 4 which covers about 4.5km between NKVE/FHR2 and Lebuhraya Pintas Selat Kelang Utara Barat 1 (NNKSB) has been completed since late last year but it has yet to open. It was previously reported that Section 4 was scheduled to be open to the public before Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

A U-turn has been added as a temporary measure while Section 3 construction works are still ongoing. The opening of Section 4 would allow motorist from Petaling Jaya, Subang, Shah Alam and Klang to enjoy congestion relief especially during peak traffic hours.
