If you’re driving your EV to Desaru for a retreat, there’s now a new 180kW DC Charger deployed by Gentari.

Located at Bandar Penawar, this is one of the most powerful EV charging spots in the area. As part of its introductory promo, Gentari is offering 15% off promo for a limited time.

Gentari has deployed a 180kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles at Petronas Desaru in Bandar Penawar.

The charger is priced at RM1.70 per kWh and you can activate it via the Gentari Go app.

To mitigate hogging, Gentari has introduced idle fees of RM0.40 per minute. The idle fee is charged if you do not unplug and move your vehicle within 15 minutes after charging has stopped.

From 1st to 15th April 2026, Gentari is offering 15% discount for EV charging at this new location and there’s no minimum spend required. Just make sure to use the promo code GO15DESARU via the Gentari Go app to enjoy the discount.
