Tesla continues to expand its EV charging infrastructure in Malaysia and they have just turned on two new locations in the Klang Valley.

One of it is a Tesla Supercharger location at Bangsar South, and the other is a Tesla Destination Charger location in Kota Kemuning.

These EV chargers are now open and are still exclusive to Tesla vehicles only.

Tesla Supercharger at Nexus Bangsar South

The long awaited Tesla Supercharger (DC Charger) at Nexus Bangsar South is now open to public. For this location, Tesla Malaysia has deployed V4 Supercharger with 4x CCS2 nozzles, capable of up to 250kW.

From the photos, the EV chargers are located near Pillar B E16.

According to the Tesla app, these Supercharger are priced at RM1.08 per kWh between 10:00am to 10:00pm. During off-peak times from 10:00pm to 10:00am, the cost to charge is lower at RM0.83 per kWh.

Do note that Tesla imposes congestion fees for this location. If the congestion fee applies, users will be charged up to RM2.00 per minute if the EV remains connected to the Supercharger when it is at or above 80% state of charge.

If you’re not in a hurry, the location also feature 4x Tesla Destination Chargers (AC charge point up to 11kW).

Over at Kota Kemuning, Tesla Malaysia has also deployed four Tesla Destination Chargers at Quayside Mall. The Destination chargers are located at Level B1 near Pillar M12.

At the moment, all public Tesla Destination Chargers are still free to use until further notice. Similar to Superchargers, these AC charge points (up to 11kW) are also exclusive to Tesla owners only.

Before the year is out, Tesla had previously announced plans to turn on more Supercharger locations in Malaysia. Besides Pavilion Damansara Heights which went live in October, Tesla is also deploying a Supercharger at The Mall at Mid Valley Southkey in Johor.
