JomCharge and DBKL continues to deploy more street-level EV chargers around Kuala Lumpur and the latest location is at Petaling Street.

To celebrate their 5th JomChargeDiKL location, JomCharge is offering 50% off for EV charging and a free scoop of ice cream for limited pax.

For this location, JomCharge has deployed a 50kW DC charger with a single CCS2 nozzle. It is a single EV charging bay located in front of Hello Planet & Sasha along Jalan Panggong, which is behind the Purple Cane TeaHouz around the Petaling Street area.

Similar to other locations, the DC charger is priced at RM1.40 per kWh and you can activate it via the JomCharge app. If you’re a JomCharge Elite member, you can enjoy 10% off.

For one day only on Saturday 18th October, you can enjoy 50% off for charging at this location. That’s RM0.70 per kWh and you can also stack the discount with your JomCharge Elite membership.

On top of that, you can redeem a free scoop of Looi Looi Ice Cream this Saturday. To redeem, just like or follow EV Connection Facebook Page or JomCharge Instagram, and then show it to the staff at Looi Looi Ice Cream.

The free Ice Cream scoop offer is limited to 40 pax.

Since the DC charger is located on the left side of the slanted charging bay, it can be tricky for EVs with charging port located on the driver side. However, this shouldn’t be an issue for Tesla EVs since the charging port is on the left rear side of the vehicle.
