In conjunction with the upcoming Merdeka celebration, Charge+ is offering 50% off for all charging sessions on 31st August 2025. As a result, EV owners can enjoy DC charging for less than 70 sen per kWh.
This 50% off Merdeka promo is available from 12:00am to 11:59pm on Sunday, 31st August 2025.
Charge+ currently has several DC Chargers deployed at strategic locations. They have 120kW “Turbo” DC Chargers with two CCS2 nozzles located at Capri by Fraser in Bukit Bintang, Proton DK Motor 4S in Ipoh, Skudai R&R Southbound and Amverton Heritage Resort in Melaka.
These chargers are currently priced at RM1.35 per kWh and with the Merdeka promo on 31st August 2025, it will cost you 68 sen per kWh.
Also not forgetting is the Charge+ 60kW DC Charger at Tai Chong Seafood Restaurant in Teluk Intan. Currently priced at RM1.25 per kWh, this is the only public DC charger in town and it will only cost you 63 sen per kWh on 31st August 2025.
To activate these chargers, you’ll need to use the Charge+ app (Google Play Store, Apple CarPlay) and reload the Wallet.
However, take note that this 50% off promo is not applicable to Charge+ chargers at Menara & Wisma CIMB, Wangsa Walk Mall and Royal Selangor Club Kiara.
