Travelling to Mersing, Johor with an EV? Gentari has just turned on an EV charging location at Mersing Harbour Centre, which is located close to the Mersing Jetty.

This is a prime location as the Jetty is the gateway to travel by boat to Pulau Tioman, Pulau Tinggi, Pulau Sibu, Pulau Rawa and more.

Not only this is the first public EV charger in Mersing, it is also a strategic charging spot for EV drivers travelling between Kuantan and Johor Bahru.

Gentari has deployed a 200kW Kempower DC Charging solution at Mersing Habour Centre that covers four EV charging bays.

These chargers are priced at RM1.60 per kWh, or RM0.80 per kWh if you have a Gentari Go Power Pass membership.

At the moment, you can activate these EV chargers via the Gentari Go app.

In case you missed it, Gentari Go has introduced its Power Pass Lite membership which allows users to enjoy 50% discount on all Gentari EV chargers for 3 months for RM250. The subscription cost is also tax deductible and it also unlocks premium features including Autochage, allowing you to start DC charging without opening the app.
