Shortly after deploying 12x new EV charge points at Toppen Shopping Centre, JomCharge has deployed eight new AC charge points next door at Ikea Tebrau.
These are new paid AC charge points which replaces the previous free EV chargers at Ikea Tebrau.
For this location, JomCharge has deployed four 7kW AC charge points at Level P1 (Pillar D16-D17) and another four units at Level P2 (Pillar P9-P10). Unlike the previous free chargers which require users to bring their own Type-2 cable (BYOC), all EV owners can plug in and charge immediately as they are all cabled.
Similar to most other JomCharge 7kW AC charging locations, these chargers are priced at RM0.90 per kWh. However, with JomCharge Elite Membership, you can enjoy a discounted price of RM0.81 per kWh with its 10% discount perk.
As part of its introductory offer, the JomCharge Elite Membership is currently offered for free for the first month and it will auto renew for RM9.90 per month.
These chargers can be activated via JomCharge, Gentari Go and ChargEV apps.
If you need a quick battery top up, JomCharge has deployed a 200kW DC Charger with four bays at the Yellow Zone (Level P1 Row 26) of Toppen Shopping Centre. These DC chargers are priced at RM1.50 per kWh.
