JomCharge has turned Toppen Shopping Centre in Tebrau, Johor into a major EV charging hub with the deployment of 12 new EV charge points.

The new EV charger rollout consists of a DC charging station capable of up to 200kW and AC charge points that offer both 7kW and 22kW of output.

If you need a quick charge, JomCharge has installed AC and DC charge points at the Yellow Zone, on Level P1 Row 26. This location has a 200kW Kempower DC Charging solution with four satellite terminals, and two 22kW AC charge points.

The DC Charger is priced at RM1.50 per kWh while the 22kW AC charge points are priced at RM1.05 per kWh.

Meanwhile, at the Multi-storey carpark section of Toppen Shopping Centre, JomCharge has deployed 6x 7kW AC charge points located at P1 near Pillar C Row 6.

These charge points are priced at RM0.90 per kWh and do note that it doesn’t come with a Type-2 cable. This means you’ll need BYOC (Bring Your Own Cable) to charge.

You can activate these new EV chargers via JomCharge, Gentari Go and ChargEV apps.

It is also worth pointing out that the free EV chargers at IKEA Tebrau Toppen has been discontinued. The existing 8x AC charge points are being replaced by JomCharge.
